Lifting 2275 with davits

Anyone have any info on the use of davits to lift a 2275 with a 225 Yamaha.  The davits are 20 feet apart and have electric motors.  The guy that use to own this property sold the spreader bar and lifting cables or straps.  I'm a newcomer and would appreciate any help.

Does any one have any idea where to buy these???  I live in Western Ohio.  Thanks.

any good hardware store can sell you the braided steel cable, not real expensive but not cheap either, may have to get someone from your local metal shop to come out and look to see what kind of spreader bar you need, then they should be able to make one fairly easy and not expensive.

Search the Internet for local "hoist" companies. You don't want toes around "guessing" capacities of spreaders, cables, etc ..... Get a good weight of your boat/motor and they should be able to figure something out for you.

The other question is, how do you know the capacity of the motor/davits?
