Hey anyone have any info on,  Lower Outdrive protection. I have seen what looks like a skeg cover that protects the outdrive skeg in the event of contact. I have seen them in chrome, just wondering if anyone has used them and if they have any info to pass along, lower unit is in good shape and I would like to keep it that way LOL :)  thanks G

For almost every problem, there is a solution. Now, I just need to figure out what my problem is! :)

My skeg on my Sea Ray was dragged up the boat ramp on my first trip to the water several years ago.  Needless to say, I had to find something to hide the damage and protect the lower unit from any additional damage.   (My old boat only had one button for the trim and tilt.  I didn't realize I had to hit another button to raise the foot all the way up.  That was a tough lesson to learn!)  I put the SkegGard on my boat and it worked great and even better, it looked great too!

Good luck!
