Looking to replace my trolling motor on the pontoon. I have an older Minn Kota with copilot. With 11 people on the boat, the line of sight to the motor gets blocked and the remote does not talk to the motor sometimes. Before you know it you are going in circles. I also what to follow the drop offs with cruise control. I need any feed back from users of the system. I have a Raymarine GPS chart and fishfinder which I know will not talk to the i-pilot.
Any feedback will be appreciated on experiences with the motor talking to a Hummingbird chart for following bottom contours of the lake.

FYI: I weighed my 2 trolling batteries last week up in Canada. My lithium 55ah battery weighs 14lb, my AGM 60ah weighs 40lb.
