Navigation light polarity

My 2017 20SSRX rear navigation light came unplugged and I want to make sure I get the polarity correct. There is a black wire and a blue wire. The female plugs are red and black. I thought black to black but I am not sure since some of the interior lights list black as positive. Thanks for any help.

Simply guess and try one.
If it's LED and it works it is correct, if not it's incorrect.
if it's incandescent it simply does not matter.
Regardless, you cannot cause any harm.

New to the forum and first time owner of a 20 SSRX TRITOON. My navigation light on my bimini came unplugged and I am not sure if there is polarity required. Female receptors are black and red, wires are black and blue. Not sure which way they go.
