Need advice on a prop for a 250hp Yamaha SHO

Looking at a 2014  2250 GBR fully loaded with a 250HP Yamaha SHO, I have no idea what difference the prop does for the motor. Any suggestions on which one to use or what the benfits are of different props?

Based on that HP stainless is a must. Derrick has the same motor as you on a RCW tower and he is running a Saltwater Series II prop 15 1/2 x 17. Hope this helps

Andy's right.  I've noticed that in Yamaha's performance tests on big motor tritoons, they use the Yamaha Saltwater Series II props.

It'll be the dealer's responsibility to put the correct propeller on the boat for your use.  He'll get it right for you.

Here is thread with some information. I went with solas, but I'm thinking about trying what TomS went with for prop dimensions.
