New member here. Bought my first Bennington back in 2012. Just recently traded it in on a 21SLX tritoon with 150 Yamaha motor. Loving the tritoon.
I am thinking about putting LED light strips around the toons. Has anyone installed these themselves? Mine has sheeting in between the toons protecting the decking. How did you wire yours?

That anodized aluminum strip that goes from the deck to the pontoon can be unbolted to give access between deck and wave tamer panel. Bennington calls it a Wave Tamer but I always knew it as Bottom Skin.

Be sure to check local laws as underwater lighting is not always legal. The big party lake here does not allow lighted pontoons either. Well, during Christmas parade it's OK.

I made sure to check before even thinking about spending the money for them. Game and fish here in Arkansas said that there isn’t a law against party lights but they have to be used while in a cove, not in a main channel or while not underway.
