An electrical problem I am having is the outboard dying when I move the cables coming from the engine to the battery. Connections are tight at battery and battery switch. Seems to be when I move the positive cable. Mechanic over the phone thought it could be the connectors on the ends of the cable rather than the cable itself. Will check connection at plate near transom where cable from motor posts to the battery incoming cable. Any other ideas?
