Plas-deck add on's

Plas Deck is the Faux teak decking bennington uses. I am currently doing a full plas deck floor in my WakeBoat. I wanted to get some matching Plas Deck for the Q and decided to do the drivers foot rest.

Here is the star of the project.

This is the clear plastic template material. You simpley template out the area you would like to do.

Here it is in place with the area outlined in black.

I decided to do the top of the cooler as well

Here is the drivers foot rest template it looks a little funky cause it taped to the floor.

Hey I thought I would share some pic's of a Plasti Deck floor instalation in my Wakeboat. By the time Im done with this install my Q will be a walk in the park. BTW this project has been going on almost a year now.

First was to remove everthing from the boat

Then the next step was to prep the floor, and re carpet the sides of the boat with new carpet.

Then The fun started. This is where I started templating the floor.

You can see the Margins (edges) marked out inblack pen. This will be a blueprint for the factory to make the floor

This is what the template looked like when it was finished

The template was sent to the factor in Acron OH where they took my template and made my floor Here are some pics of the floor that the factory sent me.

well I guess I did a pretty good job of messing up the thread above by moving the photos. So Ill try to start over.

The template is the clear piece of plastic.

I made a Template for the drivers foot rest as well

The finished Pieces showed up today so I started with the cooler cause the boats at the lake!

So the first step was to blue tape the outline

Then to sand and prep the surface

Then to apply the glue

The to trowel it out

Then remove the tape

Then Lay down the matt

Then roll out the air bubbles and your done

Wow Gee, that is now one even MORE expensive cooler!! Haha, looks great, probably softens up the top as an ottoman too!
