Polished nose cones?

I've been reading dozens of threads containing comments and information about polishing pontoons over the past few days. I think polished toons look great and was imagining what mine might look like and whether or not it might be worth all the effort. Then all the sudden I noticed that MANY of the photos on the Bennington Marine website of 2018 models seem to have polished nose cones?!! Maybe not as mirror-like as some of the photos I've seen posted here of various members' work, but they do appear to at least be more shiny than the rest of the toon. Is this in fact the case, or is my mind playing tricks after viewing too many pictures and videos? Or maybe the nose cones have always been this way and I've just never noticed.

Polished toons are really cool, but be prepared, it’s a lot of work!

It's an optical illusion. They are not polished.
