On my 2020 I had some like that
 
I see it a lot even though I don't like it. I think it comes from really tight stitching.
 
I've got some pics ,I'll post them in a few minutes. All the Bennington Pillowtop furniture I have seen is like that .
 
It is normal. It is the pillow top stitching and style. Been normal with that style seating across boating manufacturers and boat lines since at least the mid-20teens.

I went back and forth on a few models I was considering in 2016-17 as we personally do not like it. However, it is how they all come, and it is a more comfortable seat. So…we went with it.

On the bright side, we got used to it very quickly, and don’t ever notice it these days. What we do notice is how comfy our seats are every time we sit in them. :)
 
I thought all the pillowtop upholstery fabric looked like that!
 
We just went to boat to see it again. All the above answers were great. My wife was a bit perturbed when she saw my picture. Those seats are very comfortable. It makes sense once we saw whole product. Thanks guys
