Radio cutting out

Bennington 2021 RX series, Fosgate receiver, KXM amplifier and sub woofer.
No matter what I have hooked up, blue tooth, AM and FM, phone plugged into power cord, after about an hour of play the receiver starts to cut in and out. I did notice the green bars on the amplifier flash when this happens and the amplifier is extremely hot I would have to say possibly to the point of over heating.

Any thoughts?

I have an LXSB 24 which had the same trouble. The cable to the battery had vibrated loose. The bad connection made the cable go warm and music cut in and out just as you describe. See if you are able to tighten the cable on the battery. Unfortinatly did not my amplifier recover after that I figured out the problem. So it had to be replaced. Good luck
