Ramps

I keep seeing ramps sticking off many pontoons.  I don't remember seeing this option.  Is this an old option?  Is it aftermarket?

It looks on Google to be a dog ramp.  However some of them look to slide underneath the floor.

I don't think there is an option and I wasn't stoked about any of the aftermarket solutions. I wanted to keep it as light as possible since I'm already loading the boat up so much for multi-day trips. I ended up finding what I think is the perfect motorcycle ramp for the task. We use it all the time and it works great, even for 300+ pound people. The surface is great for walking without slipping and it folds up nice for storage. Considering I do a lot of beaching, it has been one of the best additions I've made to my boat. More info on it in this post:
