My original prop is an aluminum and marked BS Pro RJJ 12 1/2 X 9 and I became a member of the silver prop club this past weekend. I can get it repaired locally but plan to have a spare on hand. I can order one online or buy locally for about $150.00 and cannot see a difference in quality, but understand that you rarely get more by spending less. I also noticed that ordering some ask if it's a pitch 1 or pitch 2 which makes no sense. I'm on a freshwater river that gets shallow in the spring and am not looking for a stainless steel prop. Any suggestions ? I guess I'm looking for more education ! I do plan to support my local dealer but am looking for knowledge before I talk to him.
