Residue from Mooring Cover

I’m having an issue with my crimson red mooring cover.  I noticed right as I was putting the boat away for the season last fall that there was some red reside (dust) on the top of my lounger seats.  All this season I've been getting red residue on my clothes as I take the cover off/on and brush up against the underside of the cover.

I brought the mooring cover home the other day and did a good rinse of the underside (it was still beading nicely), but I've had it back on the boat and am still getting a good bit of residue coming off. 

Anyone else have this issue?  Any ideas before I talk to my dealer about this?

I am having covers issues ,but not residue . Dealer is currently working on a replacement .

Contact your dealer ,you should not be getting residue .
