Ski Pylon?

How do you attach rope to ski pylon(tie, loop, special gear to attach to, etc)

Have 22sfx with 150 Yamaha and finally going to try to ski behind it. Has shorter pylon(in order to fit in garage). Hoping it works ok, seems like rope will catch on motor. I guess I'll have to see.

Reach through the loop and pull the rope thru, slide over the pylon
