Currently have 14inch tires. Anybody ever put smaller tires on? Trying to get toon into garage. Thanks...Bill

How much drop do you need?

Going from 14" to 13" shouldn't be a big deal, but if you need more than that you would have to go to the 10" short/fat tires and i'm not sure that would work.

We have the 10" tires on a tandem axles Hoosier Trailer and have had no trouble with them.  We put about 2,000 miles a year on the trailer.  They would give you about 2" of extra clearance

Just check what size brakes you may have. If you have 7" drum/disc you can put 10" wheels on it. If you have 10" drums/disc you can only drop down to a 13" with really low profile tires if you need height.

Just remember the smaller the tire the faster the rpms of tire. Keep the bearings greased good!! Also remember, the trailer is probably rated based on the tires rating too, so you want to be careful and make sure the tires carry at least the same rating as the old ones.
