Supercharging a 5.7 liter Volvo

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to supercharge a 5.7 liter Volvo? Thanks
Yes.

It will semi-void your warranty of course. By that I mean, if you report a problem that clearly has nothing to do with the blower, you should be OK as you would for any manufacturer. (I don't speak for Bennington, that's just general legal knowledge.)

On the other hand, if you melt a piston, you're likely to be OOL.

Thanks for the info. What product is on the market? Im only finding stuff for a Merc engine

Procharger comes to mind. You can also try Whipple.

But those are all Chevy Vortech engines underneath; not Volvos or Mercurys.

The issue comes in as regards whether they can provide you with an ECM that will work for you. Other than that it's just about brackets.

I had been looking at supercharging for the 350 MPI merc. I have talked with Procharger and they do not have a kit for anything newer than 2003. When the market went soft they stopped research on newer marine engines. Something might bolt on but there would be no information for fuel management.
