Taking on water under helm

2019 23SLX 23 hours on motor

Does this happen to anyone else?

Seems dealer can’t figure out how to keep water from coming in through the rigging holes. Have had it back to them twice already for same issue. I will say it’s gotten better but still a real downer for a new boat.

Welcome and sorry that this is happening to you. I'd have to guess that you don't have the under-skinning. Hopefully your dealer can come up with a solution!

Try a tube of silicone and fill any problem areas from underneath the deck.

I'm with Michiman. If you had the aluminum underskinning there's no way that water is able to get through. Look into it. It will greatly improve your ride quality by preventing the water from hitting the cross members causing surging and from leaking through.....
