I have hit my pontoon trailer guide and bent it over...is it worth straightening out and welding or will it be too weak? Should I get it fixed or just buy a new one? Thanks

I have it re-welded and then beefed up with extra angle iron. If you buy a new one I bet you sooner or later bend it too.
That being said, maybe it's better that it did bend, rather than put a dent in the boat??

I’d buy a new one. Better for it to ”give” if need be vs damaging the toon. It would probably be cheaper too, plus you have to prep, prime and paint the repair.
