Transducer Problem

Brand new 20 SLX with the Garmin 100. "No Tranducer" warning then the unit goes straight to "Simulator".

My dealer is going to change the transducer. Any other thoughts? Also I'm surprised there aren't a few options for a fish finder upgrade offered by Bennington. Guess I will have to upgrade on my own.

There is an upgrade offered by Bennington. It is the Model 431. I had ours upgraded to it.

Sounds like bad connection. Did they check ALL those first. There is one or two upgrades but I think they have GPS options. There are so many fishfinders in different brands, they could never make everyone happy. I like Garmin, but had Humminbird too, and Lowrance. They are all good options, take your pick.
