Twins are only available on a 10' beam, not available on a 8.5' beam. I don't think you'd want a single on a 10' beam although they are available. They are heavy.

There is a 10' beam Bennington for sale with a single 350 Suzuki. They put the motor pod on the center toon. Saw it on Boat trader yesterday will looking at $212000 Benningtons.
