Vinyl Repair

So someone tilted the seat back to one of my captain's chairs such it was resting on the top rail.  As a result, I got a small cut in the back of the seat.  Noticeable, but not a huge, deep gash.  Anybody tried anything like this?

My husband sat with a pen in his pocket and made a small hole in the captains seat. If this works, please tell me. We are a little leery of trying to fix it ourselves.

Ask your local car dealership who they use to do interior repair. There is a business in pretty much every area that has someone that specializes in interior repair. Shouldn't be more than $100.
