Yeah I bought mine used and had water sloshing around in the front port tube. Luckily there is a well known guy around here who is excellent at welding aluminum pontoons (even the local dealers use this guy) so he drilled it, drained it, and welded it.
The same guy fixed a leak on the back side of the starboard tube when I first bought the boat and put it in the water. Bubbles were coming out. Luckily I pulled the boat out before any water got in. I marked the area and he welded it.
Haven't had any issues with either spots since then. Main thing is to find someone who really knows what they're doing when it comes to welding these aluminum pontoons because it's not like welding anything else.
