We had a very unusual day for us being late August. This is about the time we hit the 100 degree mark with high humidity pushing the heat index to 108+.

Well today was wonderful, 84 degrees with low humidity, a real pleasure. We spent a large portion of the day on a sand bar floating on tethered floats eating boiled peanuts (a Southern thing) with our favorite beverage just watching the world go by.

Hope we catch another day like today very soon B)

We also had a great day on the water in Virginia...........83 degrees partly sunny w/a little breeze anchored in a no wake zone cove catching ZZZZZs on the sunpad................then these big old black clouds rolled in and we had to step it up back to the marina and as soon as we put the boat back on the trailer and put the cover back on.........the clouds blew over us and the sun came back out. Figures........... ........ went home...........

Wonderfull weekend in the Adirondacks as well upper 80's with bright sun all weekend perfect for our annual tikki party. Been a great summer with very little rain outs on weekends. Next weekend is the Ring of Fire on Sunday night, entire shoreline of lake with beach bonfires all trying to be the biggest

They can come get my burn pile. With the dry weather, I have been building the hot dog roasting fire (EPA says you can't burn brush) since January.
