Factory L bracket located on outer (most starboard) edge of seat that holds that side down

Ours had one of these from the factory. I understand older models may not have had any and some more recently but not as new as ours may have had two? The new retainer bracket I installed only holds down the other side of the cushion (more port side), so at least one of these L brackets would be required.
