    14 1/2 ' Double Bimini Top

Will use the Yamaha 70 with 25" tubes. Benny shows a max of 70 on their options. How did you get a 90? My original 2275 RL  had lots of bells and whistles with a Yamaha 150. This one, I'm leaving off the docking lights (never go out at night), the privacy enclosure (never used it) and cup...

    Camping enclosure

You asked about a drop down clear screen. I bought a clear screen from Overton's that attached to the top with either snaps or twist lock device. The screen didn't go completely to the floor. The bottom corners used straps to attach to the side rails. I used it as a wind break when it rained.

    14 1/2 ' Double Bimini Top

I guess I should have stated it different. Is the rear top the standard 10' with a 4 1/2' top zippered on. The description talks about different attachments (to the rails I assume) and the upgrade is over $1400 MSRP. Seems like a lot of money for a small extension. My original double had the...

    14 1/2 ' Double Bimini Top

I had a 2008 2275 RL with double tops and camper enclosure. Lost boat last Jan 2013 to marina fire. I'm looking at a 2014 20' SL/SLX model and see that a 14 1/2' double bimini is an option. I'm not interested in the camper enclosure. Anyone have pics of this particular top. Is it 2 tops zipped...

    Stability of the 18' SLX

I may be in the wrong forum. I lost my previous Bennington (2008 - 2275RL R Series ) in 01/2013 to a fire at my marina. I'm looking to replace this year. I'm looking for something smaller. Either the 18 SLX or the 20 SLX. Would I get excessive pitch/roll with the either. I boat on a lake (Norris...

    Gas Tank Location

Are you referring to 'under the sunpad area' or the 'motor mount pod'?

    Gas Tank Location

I previously owned a 2008 2275RL w/150 Yamaha. Only 'problem' I had was the gas tank location in the stern/port corner. With most of the seating on the port side you tended to list towards that side. The boat was a complete loss in a marina fire in Jan 2013. I'm looking to replacing this...

    Bennington's Fuel Tank Retro-fit

I posted my problem with the fuel tank placement (stern/port) on my '08 2275RL which causes listing to port. Most seating and furniture located on the port side. TeamBennington has supplied me with info that Bennington has/had a retro-fit 22 gal covered tank that mounts on the starboard side in...

    What's the water temperature?

Home lake is Norris Lake TN. About 25 mi North of Knoxville. Water temp is in the low 80's. Level is down about 4' from summer pool. Being a power generating lake, they will continue to drop for the rest of the year. Winter pool is about 16' to 20' lower than current levels. We also have the...

    Foggy Gauges

I'll check the switch. I just found it strange that it was working fine when it was put up for the winter and didn't work when put in the water in the spring. Thanks.

    Slow Fuel

I have this problem quite often on my 2008 2275RL. The vent line is routed to the top of thefuel fill. I think the vent pressure and the small fill opening is causing the problem. I'm considering on disconnecting the existing fill and rigging a different setup.

    how fast is my boat

I have a 2008 2275RL with Yamaha 150. Speedo dial mas max of 35mph. With 2-4 persons and full fuel (25 gal), it will peg the needle well beyond the 35 mph mark. I do have wave shield and lifting strakes.

    Electric anchor winch

I had one on my previous toon. Worked like a charm. I bought it from Bass Pro. It's made for pontoons. Comes with 100' of line and you can use a 25# - 35# anchor. You only need to run the proper size wire from battery to winch. I used 25# mushroom. Look for a winch that has free-wheel drop. You...

    Gas Tank Retrofit

I have 1 2008 2275RL with the gas tank in the stern/port position. When the tank is full the boat is traveling with a list to port due to the weight of the gas, furniture, and passengers. They acknowledge the potential for listing but say that's just the way it is. I noticed that many of the...

    Double bimini and trailered

I have a double top on my 2008 2275RL. When trailering, I lay the tops down in the travel position with the boots on and light line spiral wrapped around the boots from side to side. The first time I trailered, the tops were up with the boots on (no extra wrapping) and the wind pretty much...
