Yes what little water ever touches it..... doesn't affect it at all. I just wanted it more hidden and behind the ladder is perfect and to program
it with your elbows on the ladder... so nice!!!!!
I used extra strong 3M two sided tape and it would be very hard for me to pull it off for sure.
Nice install! I really thought the exact same place to mount the mount the remote device....but it just did not
look good enough for me and wanted closer access. I mounted mine underneath and has done very good for me so far.
I really like alot what the remote can do....even more than I thought...
Sorry to tell you that technology will never stop and you will see more and more of it. Yes its very hard for the ones that do not have much technology experience or grown up with it. For me though I just want the ability to fix all the tech devices myself and check logs of what is going on...
Yes that would be very good if they would let us download the updates like many other hardware vendors are now doing. I prefer it would be just like Simrad and how easy doing updates usually are when they come available. Mine is a 2026 model so hopefully I should get all the updates they can...
Welcome to the new era of buying something brand new, so so so expensive now and having to take it to shop many times with alot of frustration to get anyone to work on it or fix the issues, REALLY taking all the fun out of boating anymore. This will be my last one for sure.
Where can we download firmware updates for the vessel and the top display? Both have NO WIFI options and I cannot find anywhere to do this?

I have a new M22 Sport and it has 200 Mercury with DTS and the + / - buttons on the command throttle do not adjust the brightness on the NSX Simrad? My other boat with almost exactly same components did? Only thing the + / - does it adjust brightness on the Digital Throttle & Shift (DTS)...
