I live in Wisconsin and teach at the college. They will do small projects if it can be worked into the curriculum. Unfortunately they are not working on those skills this semester. I would check with your local technical/vocational school and see if they would be willing to help you out. I know...
Hi Mike , yes I had it made for less then $100. It is 53" and made from solid 3" aluminum. I had the local technical college machine the groove in the end for the rope and tap the other end for a 3/4" stud. I used a 3/4" X 4" stainless steel stud for the hole in the tunnel. I then put I believe...
Hi thanks for your input and glad to hear from you. We are going to Crater today (hopefully there will be room) and I am going to try out a new prop. I will post the results.

I do have the 25 in pontoons so the prop and the strakes are making a significant difference in the speed. The dealer said it should go 24-25, and strakes would add a 1 -2 mph difference with the 90 hp when I was looking at purchasing a new one but then I found the one I have , a 2017 with...
Hi Allen I believe the first number is the diameter and the 2nd is the pitch. I think the 2.388:1 is the gear ratio for the command thrust lower unit. We were out yesterday also and rechecked my speeds. I had 13.8 mph at 3300 rpms and 21 mph at 5200 rpm which was wot. I thought that the rpm and...

Hi Allen, I have algae on mine also but I do not have the strakes and that is probably making the speed difference as my dealer said it would make 2-3 mph difference in speed.
We keep ours at a slip at the marina also. I agree it may be difficult to read it. You may have to turn it around and back it into the slip depending how your docks are laid out.
Hi Allen the number is stamped on the prop, mine is 178114A45 13P. I then went to this site and typed in the number in the search and it gave me the diameter and pitch. I have bought props from this company and they are only a few hrs away in the twin cities. http://www.propmd.com/
Hi Allan, I can trim some but I have the same problem it I go much beyond 1 mark past the lowest. I also have the problem if I accelerate to fast no matter where the trim is. I have ordered a new prop ( because I don't have a spare and I am thinking there may be something wrong with this one)...
