Thanks for the follow up. I talked to Bennington customer support and was told that it is an access point. He said on my model it’s not really used. My batteries are in the porta-potty enclosure, so they have easy access.

Hi, everybody. I have a 2013 22SFX. In the aft port corner, there is a snap cover over some heavy wiring. They are labelled battery 1 and battery 2, obviously referring to the battery switch. What I'm trying to figure out is the purpose of the access there.

I installed my 12’ Talon using the MinnKota sandwich bracket between the motor and the transom. I wasn’t sure of the angles to use for the adjustable sections but basically I got it mounted squarely with the back of the deck. obviously, I did something wrong because as soon as I get up to about...

We just realized that the port light comes on and is at full brightness. The starboard light is on but very dim. Since they’re on the same circuit, any ideas why this might be happening?

Thanks everyone. We got a 22 SFX, with two elliptical pontoons. Even with the Yamaha 115, it cruises nicely at 25-27 and handles chop very nicely. I just got my MinnKota Terrova installed today and did the Lowrance HDS12 yesterday. I'll take pictures this weekend, after I've got everything...

Just got our 22SFX and are very happy with it. One problem though, is the seat posts. I’m afraid they’ve never been removed since 2014. I’ve tried PB blaster between the post and the nylon insert, but they won’t budge. Any ideas on how to get them loose?

Not true. We put it in the water, so we could start the motor and check the pumps and sonar. We just couldn’t leave the marina since the seller wasn’t there.
