I had the same issue, no center toon support. I called Bennington and they recommended I support the center toon. $400 for the brackets, carpet and 2x4's. Didn't take long to add the center support. One thing to note. Do not buy treated lumber. Regular, untreated pine was recommended...

I just bought a 2004 2575 and the upholstery looks brand new. I found this product in the boat. . If this was what they used I am going to continue with it. I was amazed at the condition of the seating. They probably kept it covered when not in use as well.
