My 2013 20SF with Yamaha T50 and a Yamaha 14x11 turns approx 6000 RPM and will hit 18 mph under ideal conditions.
Note that I've removed the restrictor plate from the T50 (only difference from the T60)
Sorry for the delayed response.
For the gauge I bought, the spade terminal was for the light, so it was the original blue wire, but was the pigtail's yellow wire.
So, for me:
Pigtail color
Original color
Terminal Type
Purpose
White
Black
ring
Ground
Brown
Purple

Ignition
Yellow...
What is the resistance reading between the pink wire and ground (black wire)? If it is between 30 - 240 ohms, then the gauge is bad. I had the same thing happen to me this year. Filled the tank last fall so didn't think much when the gauge was at full, but then noticed after a few trips, the...
I currently add Stabil 360 Marine to the cans before filling them with non-oxy fuel. It's most likely over kill, but
a) I don't have a trailer
b) nearest repair shop is 20+ miles away
it's cheap insurance to prevent fuel related issues.
Next year I may switch to using regular unleaded and add...
Follow-up:
Adding this info in case somebody else needs to solve the same issue. I ended up ordering "Deutsch DT 6-pin Pigtail Kit" and a Faria fuel level gauge from Amazon. Used the socket connector from the pigtail kit, 3 crimp on ring terminals, and one 0.25 female spade connector. Easy job...
The Electrical Specs thread in this forum has some schematics. I didn't see any specific to your model, but the horn circuit doesn't seem to have changed much. Best option is to start probing with a meter to see where you lose the 12 volt reading. Also, make sure to verify that the ground side...
I've experienced similar. When we are on a slow cruise, the tach usually reads 2200 rpm and GPS speed is ~5.5mph. A couple of time s we've been out cruising like that and I look at the tach and it's at 3000, or 2800 or something else. A little while later, back to 2200 rpm. It doesn't happen...
I have the Minn Kota Deck Hand 40 on my 2013 20SF. It's mounted over/on the port side rear tube using a platform I don't think I have the same platform, but it's similar. The setup works well and holds pretty well in the wind. I like that it's on the back and out of the way. plus. the boat seems...
On our 2013 20SF, the fuel gauge appears to have stopped working. With ignition off, the needle is below E (expected) and with ignition on, the needle goes to F. It has been at F all season. I've disconnected the connector from the back of the gauge and measured the resistance between the pink...
As a data point, I have a 14x11 on my T50 and RPMs are 6000 at WOT. Speed is about 16-18mph.
Also, I've removed the restrictor plate in my T50, which is supposedly the only difference between the T50 and T60.
