Proper use of 2 battery switch

On the 12" main VIVID UX Display, there is a battery symbol, right next to that it shows the current battery volt level, the % charged level, and a number indicating the amount of Amps charging into the battery (with an up arrow), or conversely the amount of Amps draining from the battery (with...

Proper use of 2 battery switch

I know a lot has been talked about battery switches across multiple threads. I have a new 2026 RXSBA with a Bluewater 9800-011 dual battery switch. My google research resulted in the following... Bennington pontoon boats typically use traditional, manual 4-position selector switches (Off, 1...

2026 New Powered Bimini on Arch option

Just a follow up now that I've had my new 2026 RXSBA a few weeks now. I did get the new for 2026 power bimini that attaches to the power folding cladded arch and so far, like it a lot. Because we always park the boat on our shore station with canopy cover and we always want the bimini deployed...

Bennington changing back to traditional vinyl?

Just a follow up on the new veneto soft touch vinyl. During our boat ordering process we were offered to still go with simtex but we did not necessarily like the available simtex colors so we ended up choosing the gray veneto with midnight blue simtex accents in the diamond stitched seat backs...

    Another Speed/Performance Question

Just following up on this thread that I initiated back in January. As it turned out it was too late to change the order for my 22026 RXSBA ESP from a Merc 300hp V8 to 350hp V10. I've had the boat for a few weeks now. The top speed with 3 people, 90% fuel in the 73gal tank, bimini NOT deployed...

    Another Speed/Performance Question

Yup! I always use Marina rec fuel as well.

    Another Speed/Performance Question

Mercury recommends minimum 87 octane for their V8 and V10 series Verados.

    Another Speed/Performance Question

Thanks for all the replies. The upgrade from 300hp Verado to 350hp Verado (including the higher pre-rig cost) is $9650 MSRP.

    Another Speed/Performance Question

Thanks for your reply Jack M. From your comments, you're thinking the additional 50 hp will not be enough to compensate for the added length and weight in order to provide as good of performance as the 23R without arch. Or maybe your thoughts are also that the 23R without arch with 250hp may...

    Another Speed/Performance Question

I know, I know... there has been a lot of past discussions on speed/performance with different set-ups. My question is... I'm switching from a 2018 23R Swingback ESP with no arch to a 2026 25RX Swingback ESP with an arch. My 23R had the Merc Verado 250hp (inline 6 cylinder) motor and I was...

M Series Veneto Vinyl Scratch/Scuff Repair

Wow, your experience with the veneto vinyl doesn't sound encouraging. I don't have any advice to offer, I'm just commenting as I ordered a 2026 RX25 a couple months ago and apparently Bennington is phasing out the simtex vinyl and going to veneto across all the lines.I had experience with the...

2026 New Powered Bimini on Arch option

On Bennington's website for the new 2026 QX it lists both cladded arch with powered bimini and a carbon fiber arch with powered bimini as optional features. My dealer tells me at least the cladded arch with an integrated powered bimini will be an available option on the R series as well. Not...

Bennington changing back to traditional vinyl?

I'm in the process of ordering a 2026 25RX Sport and the dealer tells me Bennington is starting to phase out Simtex across their lineup in favor of a more traditional vinyl. I supposedly can still get Simtex if I want it but eventually the Simtex material will runout. I asked if it will be the...

    Seat cushions crunched after storage

Hooray for the resilience of Benning ton seats!! Just a follow to my 'crunched' seat cushion issue. After a few weeks of being out of storage and not even being in hot sun, the seat cushions that were so squished have rebounded at least 95%. Good enough for me. As discussed, most likely the...

    Seat cushions crunched after storage

I did show a picture and talked to the service manager of the place who shrinkwrapped and stored my boat. She said she’ll get with the team and investigate what could have happened. They’ll need the boat back to check it out in person but not until after the busy Memorial weekend.
