It is in Blanchard, MI. Also, based on the number of pontoons parked in his yard, I think you are right.

So I went ahead and dropped it off at Henry's (Amish guy). I will let you know how it goes and what it looks like in the end.

I'm not sure those are 3 different tiers like good, better, best. From what I could find, Mayfield prices are between $30 to $38 a yard, Seamark prices were $32 to $58 a yard, and Shade ranged from $20 to $90. It depends on width and pattern.

I didn't know that either. Not sure which one they are using but, according to Sunbrella, Mayfield and Shade is designed for awning/pergolas, while SeaMark is for marine applications which I'm hoping is the one they would use. I reached out to him but he won't be able to talk to the gentleman...

I don't know. Good question and worth the research. I'll let you know what I find out.

Correct. And he can get it done the second week of May. Just the drive though. I was skeptical also by the whole "amish" thing when dealing with the gentleman who said he is just helping them out where he can. After some more snooping on the web I was able to verify that he is Amish from an...

Trying to decide if I want to go with the last guy I talked to. It's about a 2 hour drive from my house but the price for a complete custom Sunbrella job was around1500. Apparently it's an Amish couple that do the work and their work looks pretty good but I can't tell...

What about Top Gun? Was quoted prices for both Top Gun and Sunbrella with the latter being $200 more. Based on a little research. It's better at abrasion resistance but that's about it.

Here is the company website - https://recasensusa.com/producto/recacril-marine/ - it seems they have been in the textile business since 1886. Along with another article I found comparing it with Sunbrella - https://sewlong.com/2016/09/30/sunbrella-vs-recacril/

The prices I have received so far are around 1800. Two of the individuals are using Recacril. After some quick research, it seems similar to Sunbrella but a different weave. Anyone else heard/used it before?

I'm assuming now based on prices it was just overstock items they had laying around and blowing it out as his was a 2006 Bennington.

That has been the ball bark I've been getting so far. Is that on par what I would spend from the factory? I just have my brother-in-law telling me he spent 1K for a new cover from a Bennington dealer in Indiana. Granted that was 5 years ago and inflation has been crazy lately.

It does have snaps. I reached out to a few people and provided them with pictures but nothing yet. I hoping it will be somewhat reasonable 1 - 1.5K or am I dreaming?

In Michigan as well. I sent a request to several places last night but haven't heard back from anyone yet.
