2025 College Football

Michigan-Oklahoma game turned out as I was expecting it to, and my prediction of 5-7 wins for this year's Wolverine squad will probably ring true.
Will be at the Michigan-Northwestern game at Wrigley Field this November, so that should be a nice dose of nostalgia!

That will be a very cool setting for the game. Enjoy when it comes around!!!

I'd like to go to a Northwestern game at their temp stadium by the lake.
Looks like their new stadium will be something special too.
Their team...not so much. Fired the best coach they will ever see there.

2 dominate games by the Huskies so far. Big game at Hillsdale this weekend.

Jeff, I have some bad news. I looked ahead at this Saturday's scores and the Penguins upset the Spartans.
Glad you were wrong. Although we won solidly, our defense looks too porous. 42-24 MSU, but honestly, we should not have allowed them to go past 13pts. Our offense has made more progress in the off season than our defense.

Anyway, I feel like the ND v Texas A&M game was one of the best games of the weekend. Back and forth. Both teams played well. ND is looking like the best 0-2 team in the country. A&M battled to get the win in the final seconds at South Bend. Just a great and entertaining game to watch.

That said, here are a few pictures of the MSU Marching Band heading into the stadium. Living close to campus, we caught the band on campus before heading back home to watch the MSU game.

Love the green simtex - and it would look extra amazing with white simtex as the base instead of the camel/brown!

Sadly Sparty is taking gas. Michigan squeaked by Nebraska and sadly my MTU Huskies fell to some no name team called Upper Iowa 21-14. Who the hell is that? HHAHHAHAHA

This excerpt sums up my thoughts on the current NCAA coaching mess...

"Wisconsin hired Fickell from Cincinnati after the Badgers parted ways with Paul Chryst during the 2022 season following a 2-3 start. Before that season, Wisconsin had won at least nine games in every full season of Chryst’s tenure"

Furthermore....

"Fickell would receive $334,736 a month until March 31, 2032, if fired at the end of the 2025 season."

First, It's insane for publicly funded universities to be paying one person that kind of coin.
Second, When are these programs gonna wise up and structure coaching compensation around results?

Michigan coaches need to get the defense developed ASAP and hand out some attitude adjustments to curtail the cockiness.

We competed very well in the 1st and 4th quarters. We really struggled in the 2nd and 4th quarters. I guess we head home with a 45-31 lesson. The frustrating thing is they ran all over us, which was supposed to be the strength of our D - and it came at the hands of pass-centric USC. They were impressive.
