Hmm, pretty sure those booster cables are just using EC5 connectors, so I could actually buy two, wire them in parallel (make a parallel pigtail) and it'd be enough to boost the Cadillac 6.2L. Might be worth a look. PLUS if I was just boosting someone else I could still just use one if they had a little motor.

My neighbor started the 496HO in his Baja go-fast with a Scorpion jump starter just like mine. He just clipped it to the battery and it fired right up.

Mine just arrived ,fully charged .

It is "supposed" to rain Sunday .If so I will take it over to  friends house and find something to try it on .

I bought one of each, thinking the 500 amp would be better. Side by side, these are identical. They appear to be made by the same China manufacturer.

The small one is just a de-tuned version of the big one. 

Call Simon Motor Sports and have them re-program the ECM.

I don't know why I'm adding to this thread.  Just more paper I'm going to have to eat...
