Thinking about putting Auto Pilot on the boat. I regularly troll when I fish and I believe it will help if I'm alone/or with my kids who cant seem to keep the boat straight as they take turns reeling in the fish. does anybody have this installed? if so what kind?

I've never seen auto pilot on a pontoon boat. Sounds expensive to put in.
Only such thing I've seen is a GPS unit on a trolling motor that will take you back and forth across the same waypoints.

Shouldn't be any different on a pontoon then a normal boat. Ray marina makes a great one but pricey. Most of the charter boat captains up here on lake huron use ray marine or simply or sitex sp80. All can have data sent through nmea 2000 or 0183.
