Bennington owners cribs

Wow, you all have beautiful homes!   I thought I would contribute, even though we do not have our benny yet (it's on order so I hope that counts).   I share our pier with the other 2 houses in our neighborhood, our lift is on the left (i know, its rough looking now, but I have our lift guy coming out soon to set it up for our 24scwx)

Nice!  What lake are you on?

Very nice !!

There seems to be a lot of new owners on the forum. I thought it might be time to bring this thread back up to see their places.

Great thinking! Here is an updated shot of ours.

Nice view. The calm water always make everything seem so great.

It is quite obvious I used up all my income to debt ratio on the toys and not the house! The Benny actually cost more than I originally paid for the house!! Haha, but the house is now 2 1/2 times it's original purchase price. Yup, would have been paid for if I hadn't kept redoing the mortgage to pay off other stuff, like boats. Haha. It's all we need though and the taxes are cheap.

No worries BD My house isn't much more than yours built in the 1950's and the Benny was just shy of what we paid for our house as well back in 98, wife and I like simple, but I do have a 38x45 garage / shop "not big enough or set up for getting the toon in though" and 1.78 acres.

We like to travel and have fun and didn't want to be "House broke" as I like to call it where folks get so deep in mortgage they can't afford to do anything.

I prefer to define my situation as broke broke! I'm in far too deep on everything!  Haha but what I wouldn't give to have a nice 30x45 shop at my parents place for the boat! It would save me so much worrying!

Lake Cumberland had record snow falls.  There was millions of damage to boats at the marinas from roof collapses.  We were lucky, the roof was on the house and there was no damage. Hoping for occupancy by Memorial Day.

Looking really nice! Make sure to keep the pics coming as construction progresses.

Yup we love construction projects, keep the updates coming

Here is our home, we built it in 2013, it took 17 months and its our second home on this lake.  (Last one was just 15 doors down)  We are raising our twins on the lake, I try to spend most weekends on it.
