In case you've not noticed, the sunsets are moving toward the southern sky. And the sunsets are getting better and better as the weeks go on until December 21st, the first day of Winter. Then they'll start moving slowly toward the north.
In our case, the sun eventually settles right on the horizon on top of Wilson Dam 6 miles away. That's when our sunsets appear like "fire on the water" and are an incredible sight.
