I'm tiring to figure what the best prop for my boat is. I needed to get it replace and never have had to do this and the dealer wanted to give me a different one that was on it. I then called a different dealer and they told me a different size so now i'm really confused. Any help would be much appreciated. The #'s on the original prop are. 13.5 x 15R and it is a 3 blade. The first deal want to give me a 4 blade.
Best prop for 2004 257 FA with a 140 johnson 4 stroke.

I am not a prop guy but wanted to mention that the prop for my RL with a 115 Yamaha is also a 13.5 x 15. I just ordered a new one as I dinged my current one this past weekend

Welcome. Since I've never heard of that model, I'm assuming it's 25' long. It would be nice to have some more info like: Wide open throttle and speed by GPS. Is your prop aluminum or stainless? Pictures would also be helpful as well as how you're going to use the boat most of the time.
