Blackout Edition

Rams have always seemed cheap to me. My neighbor just got one and if it wasn't for Ram throwing 20's on them I wonder how many they would sell. And the dial knob shifter is not my thing either. Pretty weird. Whats next, a return of the push button trans!!! No offense Semp, just my GM roots go deep!

Ram was there first, Chevy copied them .... AGAIN ...... LOL !!!!

My opinion, but I just can't stand the look of the Ram, I like my trucks to look rugged, but this one does not.  I know they do make some better looking Rams than this though.

Totally agree. I've heard lots of great things about the newer ones, but I just can't get over the look of them. I'm thinking of getting a new truck this year or next. Thinking about getting something black after the last two being dark grey, just not sure what. But then again, that might lead to another case of PADs. Can't have that...

Jeep Gladiator in all black, no bling. Yes, that's it

Yeah, I'm kind of the opposite, I like the sport look. My Jeeps are the rugged looks in the family. I will agree, the Chevy's interiors don't seem as cheap as the Dodge. Dodge went with too much "plastic". I like the turn button concept, but just another gadget to have issues with later ...... The less electrical gizmos on my toys the better. I like window cranks and shift levers.

I told the wife I'll get some spray bombs and make our own Blackout Edition, she was not amused .......

She has probably experienced your spray bombs before that have resulted in brownout edition skivies!

I'm sure that Jeep would run about $60,000. I love old vw's. super easy to work on and run forever.

Has anyone purchased the blackout package and if so how does it hold up to scratches and heat?  I'm a few weeks away from my order and I love the looks of the blackout package, but this will be a boat we'll probably have for many years.  Scratches with an anal person like myself would drive me crazy!  Thanks for any input!
