Boat arrived ...what a day!

Yeah, one down side to vertical lifts is they must be very, very level to work properly. Cantilevers don't have that issue so much.

I'm going to work on the lift after work today. Hopefully get it done in time so we can take it out for the 2nd time! Here are some pictures from our maiden voyage. Thanks again to my wife for surprising me with ordering the boat back in October!

That's Lakeliving!

Now that's a happy scene!

This was pre wind/rain! My neighbor dropped off his lift float yesterday so this should make things easier. I've also got another picture here for link

Now thats a GREAT WIFE !!!!

Great looking deck/railings.

Thanks Bruce. Veka railings (aluminum channel in top and bottom rail) I'm over 200lbs and can stand on the bottom rail and it won't break due to the aluminum channels. Super strong but expensive, decking is Azek PVC (sedona) and also $$$$ but I highly recommend to anyone doing a deck, porch etc. Materials were expensive but we saved on labor although I did have 3 guys working on it, me, myself and I!!

Do it once right and the cost is spread out over many years and you get to enjoy it now and no maintenance.

Great pics! Really like that deck. We will be tearing out our existing deck and putting in a new composite one next spring.

Cocktails and appetizers with a view, Beautiful! Can't wait to spend the weekend at ours!

If you would have went with wood and 2x4 railings, you'd be riding in a Q, just saying! hahaha Looks good!

Maybe that's what the PO did as they had 2x6 joists 24" OC and railings with about 8" between balusters. I did spend some time on the lift yesterday and got it pretty close. I'm counting on the rear settling a little but the cable has been replaced, supports adjusted and set back in place. I didn't have time to take it out yesterday so maybe today we'll break the 1 hr mark. Here is the before and after along with a "Pure Michigan" sunset from last night

Ahhhh, looking much better!

Thanks Tom. It was making me nervous how it was before. I think I might move the rack mount down a notch to help with clearance as the boat barely goes on. I also haven't tried while on board. I push it in from in the water. This photo shows it is pretty level except the back is a bit higher. If it doesn't settle I'll readjust. Also anyone else with strakes have warped toons from the heat? I'm not big on that but I guess it happens.
