Depth finder question

I have a friend with a 2015 22SLX with the basic Garmin depth finder.
He replaced the transducer, and now cannot get the unit off of "demonstration mode".
I think I could get it for him if I were there, but he's 100 miles away, and I don't remember things well enough to instruct him.
Any instructions that I could forward would be greatly appreciated

What model? All the manuals should be on Garmins website. You might have to go to the “discontinued” page.

Tell him to Google his particular unit/how to turn off Demo mode and it'll come up. Got my boat back from it's 20 hr. oil change and my Simrad was in Demo mode for some reason. Well I tried for about an hour to get it out of Demo mode while on the water last Friday. My wife googled it and perfect instructions came up..........
