70's here today at Lake Norman......neighbor took me for a quick spin on his Sweetwater 22 ft pontoon boat w/a 90 HP on it. Gorgeous day!!!

My boat is still in Virginia......

No pics of the new digs yet? Glad you made it out! He'll be jealous once big kahuna is done there!
 
It's actually a nice boat..........but it's not a Benny! You can tell that the upholstery is not as nice/padded but I appreciated the quick spin.....

Temps in 40's this week but it may not be enough

I have no idea why that pontoon is not covered or winterized ?

With the extreme temps we had this winter as low as -18F I will be interested if it works ths summer.

Beautiful day today! We debated taking the boat out but somehow Mrs. Spin managed to coax me into honey-dos.
 
What track is close to the lake? I've only ever been to Charlotte Motor Speedway which is on the south/east side of Concord. That's a good 30 miles to Mooresville.
 
Pittsburgh I would think the toons would glide on that ice pretty smoothly.  All you need is to put up a sail
