We are looking at maybe purchasing a 20SLX and we're wondering about the half camper enclosure.  Anyone have one of these and if so, any comments would be of great assistance.

Thanks.

We're also looking at this, so we'd love to hear some answers.  Anything to extend the boating season.  The question I have is can you run the boat with this thing up safely?  It looks like it has plenty of windows, but just looking for input from someone that has this.

Thanks!

remember they are designed for camping not running. It's bad enough with the wind and a bimini up plus the reduced visabilty. Im in florida and use half for overnighters only.

I just picked up our 2025 23SSR and want to know where to get the half camper enclosure also in Florida

. Perhaps someone else will respond. In the past others have had custom enclosures made at local a canvas shop

The original owner of my boat (Hi Tripp!) had this gorgeous enclosure made at a local shop in central SC. I don't know where. I'm sure there are shops in FL that can do these.

I have past experience with two enclosures. One was my own and the other was a friends. We both traveled down the river. Wind was rarely a problem and only when docking. On a longer trek we both had eye strain. Sounds strange but it has to do with focal length. When a windshield is dirty or has minor distortion we automatically focus past it. The closer the windshield is to our eye the easier that is to do. Is a pontoon inclosure worth it? We dream of taking everyone out on those few special occasions. Weather oftentimes does not cooperate and pontoons leave occupants exposed. Being able to take others for a ride as promised makes it worth it.
