That is my Verado 250 Pro on 2275RCW, 3rd hole.

Awesome Tom i really appreciate, tommorrow i pick her up so its in 2nd hole with 17 pitch so im gonna c how it does during break in..

Not saying RPM's will change a lot but I wouldn't change props until ~20+ hours.

Also, if you haven't read the break-in thread wth the "new Verado Owner's manual" on www.veradoclub.com do it FIRST, very important information on Verados!

Well i got my baby only to find steering is backwards and they also did not bleed system either. Almost hit dock and impossible to even steer even tho its backwards. VERY dangerous and had my 2 and 3 year old on boat.

That’s no good, was there a steering issue from your last trip?? I’m waiting patiently to see some test results as I would assume that thing to fly with the correct set up. Keep us posted!

That's right about where I was with the 18p ~51 gps. Loved everything about that motor.

Can anyone tell me if the ski locked is supposed to b taking on water from center toon? I kno there is bilge in there but i figured that was for if water gets in thru ski locker door ..

Also is this normal? Its like this on both sides.

The break is normal to keep it all one piece but to be honest it could of been completed a lot cleaner and squared. My has the same piece with the same bend and has a clean cut to the vertical and both bends match.

Yup, its normal to get some water in there as its not a water tight seal or environment with the in floor storage. Nothing to worry about, just put that bilge pump to work. That said, I didn’t know that until after getting ours as well. Threw me off at first, and taught me I don’t want things in there that I want kept dry.

For comparison purposes, my 2574 with a 250 Verado Pro spinning a 15.6X13 Enertia and mounted in the top hole/lowest position will hit about 40 mph @ 6400 rpm moderately loaded. Obviously, I could probably do a bit better by going to a 14 or 15p but I'm pleased with my overall performance.
13p is way too small. Were running a 24 ft tritoon w 225 merc. 14.7 x 16p at 46 mph @5800rpm. We were full of fuel and 5 adults. I still thi k im going to go w a SS 4 blade

Yeah, I agree that I'm under propped but unfortunately I didn't know better when I bought the boat. Worse yet, the next one's on me... :(

Let me know if you decide to move on from the 13p Enertia, I may know someone who would take it off your hands. Not that I need to own another prop.....

Actually, I recently contacted Ken @ propgods.com and provided him with all my critical information and he recommended staying with the 13P! Over the weekend I also talked to someone with a 2575 RCW with a 250 Verado. While he couldn't tell me exactly what pitch he was running, he thought it was a 15 or 16P. He did indicate a top speed of 40 MPH with a WOT 6200 RPM. As such, I'm feeling a lot better about my current set up!

I would still think a 16P would be perfect for your setup. I have the Inertia 16P on my 200 Verado Pro and I hit 40 mph with 4 large adults at around 5400 rpm. With the 250, you should see a few more RPM and MPH. I have ran 2 other aluminum 4 blade props and each time I got back to the SS Inertia 16P, I can tell a huge difference and LOVE it! Great throttle response, boat surges with each increase, tows amazing, and cruising is great.

Put that torque to use, step up to a 16P and be done with it.... =)

Not to go in another direction, but shouldn't you be running at a bit higher WOT RPM? I think the range is 5800 to 6400 for our engines.

What I'd like to do is try out a higher pitch before buying so I'm waiting to hear back from my dealer whether they'll accommodate my request.
