Here's our order, now for the wait.

Todd, your lucky. They've come a long way in options/upgrades in just the 4-1/2 years I've been on the forum. I can't imagine what they will come up with next ..... but I found out, no matter what I "thought" I was happy with, I just kept bumping the "add" button ..... I think you did it right. Exceed your expectations. It will probably cover you for 3 or so years till the "bug" gets you again.  :p

Bennington has for sure came a long ways. I looked at buying my first Bennington back in 2008 and didn't buy it and needless to say have regretted it ever since. I'm sure with the way things are advancing I'll be drooling over a newer and better model way to soon but this one is just going to have to last a while. We have discussed maybe looking to upgrade 5 years down the road if there's enough reason to justify it.

I bought my first Bennington in 2002, and sold it last year for 75% of the original price, 14 years old and still looked like new.

We bought the "demo" in 2012 and traded it for 75% of it's value. Probably could have sold it outright and got maybe $1500-$2000 more, but the "winter savings" dealer offered (pull & store) was worth another $700, PLUS, by trading, saved another $1100 just in sales tax. No winter storage fee if it didn't sell, no tire kickers, bickering, wasted time ......  ;)

They definitely hold their value if you take good care of them.

I think I can hold out for 5 yrs. LOL

Getting a little nervous after hearing the "5 year itch" but so far still happy with my 2012.

Just heard due to high sales volumes that Bennington is saying 8 weeks on new orders now  :(

It will be like a good whiskey, the longer Bennington takes, the more excited and the more you will enjoy. When will she actually be able to float anyway?

We actually spent 6 hours on the lake last year on February 20th and had several more cruises in by the end of march.

Yeah. That's pretty standard this time of year. Glad we ordered in August/Sept. Just hope there's no snafus.
