I can't twist it any direction. It sits in a black seat that looks like it would twist one way with a specialty tool.
How to I remove the ski pylon? 2014 25R......

I've answered this one more than a couple of times. Here's one of my posts with pictures remove pylon
Turn it clockwise (yes I know that's counter-intuitive) about 30 degrees and pull up. You may need some penetrating lubricant. Crud gets in there and binds it up.

I did find the info here. I just bought it used. Seems pylon has never been out. It's stuck good but I see how now, thx !
