I realize someone is bound to be having a great weather spring, because that's how it works, but ours here in NC has started out really cool and damp, and it's hard to get the boat fever. And it's supposed to be really cool and rainy this coming Memorial weekend, too. The long term forecast for these parts is for the coolest summer in a decade. Sure could use a warm, sunny weekend about now. I guess 60's and 70's would be a great spring and summer for you northern guys, but we expect consistent 80's around here by now, but it just ain't happened yet. Water is still really cool.

We went out today, air was 82 water 62 . Forecast calls for chilly the next 2 days mid 80's this weekend. But we do not go out on holidays too many ******** out in rental boats.

Still on the chilly side in AZ...... Not really warm until we get the +118 degree wind chill factor in June.:cool: In the evening, we have to put on the parka when it dips below 70.

Same here, we stay off the water during holiday weekends. Best to hop on the golf cart with a cooler of beer to the boat ramp and watch the action. Never a dull moment!!!

82 air would be OK, but 62 water temp is way too cool.

Looks like it’s supposed to start warming up next week in our area (south central Pa). Can still see your breath in the early mornings but looks like that’s gonna change soon.

Yes it is ,the adult beverages stay home until the water warms up .:p
Jack, are you in a different time zone up there north of the 45th parallel? 4:45 is pretty early in the morning to be perusing the forum.

In Amsterdam and just boarded the Jewel of the Seas for a 12 day British Isles cruise. It was 59l60 degrees the last 2 days in Amsterdam and don't expect it to be much warmer the rest of the time! But hopefully it'll be warmer when we get back home Big Dog!!!

It was 56 for a high today just north of Detroit. Too cold. Weekend highs on the water will be 59 Friday, 62 Saturday, 66 Sunday, and 68 Monday. Boat will be staying in the barn for at least another couple weeks. Thanks Mother Nature! :)

Make sure to post up some pics!!

60's and rain all 3 days this weekend. Ughhhh. Just don't remember it being like this.

High 60's here today .High 70's Friday and Saturday . Then 80's for the next week or so . We wont go out until Monday at the earliest, when the rental boaters head home .

Our upcoming forecast is below. Looks like a nice Memorial Day weekend on Houhgton Lake. Mayflies will hatch anytime, probably early next week. At that point we will skip the lake and be downstate for three weeks until their three hatchlings passes. Looking forward to sunshine again. For me, mid to no more than high 70’s is my comfort zone. 80’s and above is too hot for me, but most everyone else seems to like it.

Very long and cool spring here too. So wet and cool that some of our azaleas had three separate blooming periods...even the plants can't figure it out. The winter temps were way lower than usual too. We've lost about a dozen plants to freezing with more very damaged.

The good news is that the longer days, even if cool, have the surface water temp up to 75F now. Wading in a shallow beach area is comfortable. Brushed some growth off the outer sides of the the pontoons and picked up a couple MPH.
