Any Ideas on this. I don’t use the wash down that used to occupy this round hole. I was thinking about installing a flush mount Plastic storage bin. This would be a great place for us to put our keys. Anyone have any sources for a nice plastic storage box? I’m guessing 8” x 6”

Well my parts all Painted and now I get to fine tune it and square up the door in the Frame. I know the color is off but I don’t care.

The part came out great way way stronger then the Orignal and will do the job

I decided to take the Door off the Galley.
The Door is not well thought out. I like how when it’s closed it stops that little bit of Motor noise coming in the boat. But I don’t like how the Door is always in the wrong position, Aka it’s always closed when you want it open and it’s always open when you want it closed plus the door to the galley fights with this door. My solution is I wanna explore a Pocket style door that slides sideways across opening. I’m still just trying to figure out in my head how I would do it and what material for the door would I use.
My first thought is some Black or Tan King Starboard or somthing like that.

I’m real happy how this came out. The door is nice and solid and opens and closes smooth and Dosent make contact anywhere on the frame. Yea it sucked making it but I hated looking at the broken frame with the sagging door I used to have to stare at. Here is B4 and After

Very professional looking. I kind of like the color change and contrast!
