Illuminated Kicker Speakers

So can I go to kicker website and buy these and they would be a direct replacement for my 2010 rcw that has the kicker speaker upgrade? Hole size / cut out the same? Do extra wires need to be run for the illumination? I have all the factory blue ice options that were available back in 2010

I do believe so, as I was just looking the same thing up. 5-1/8" diameter cut ot.

You can buy other places also, but pricing is pretty much standard.

I would expect that the illumination could be added to existing speakers for about $5 each. Just add a 12V Blue LED and run power.

Here's the results of adding a single chip RGB LED to my JL Audio speakers:

They are brighter in person, and add depth to the looks of the speaker, but I may go back and add a second chip at the top to minimized the tweeter cone shadow. I tied them into my RGB cupholder circuit to keep colors in synch.

I agree, I like it as is. It gives good depth to the grille, if it's too bright it might wash it out a little. Well done, as usual.
